Traditionally, each new anthology is unveiled at the annual spring Awards Day held at the Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities in Southern Pines. However, this year we met virtually via Zoom due to the pandemic. If you missed the meeting, a recording is available here of the Adult Contest winners’ reading.
The Board of The North Carolina Poetry Society is pleased to announce that the editor for the 2020 edition of Pinesong was Sherry Pederson Thrasher. Sherry served on the Board over a decade ago and graciously returned to offer her time and expertise to NCPS.
NCPS members are entitled to receive one free copy of each year’s edition of Pinesong. This year we are offering to send a copy to our members for free. To request this member service, please contact Joan Barasovska, NCPS Vice President of Membership. Additional copies can be ordered for $10 (for one book, add $4 postage and handling). Make checks payable to NPCS. In addition, each contest winner receives one free copy.
A limited supply of recent back issues is available at meetings and through the mail for $6.00 each. If purchasing through the mail, add $4.00 for shipping and handling for the first copy and $1.50 for shipping and handling for each additional copy.
If interested, contact the NCPS Book Sales Coordinator, whose information is listed at the bottom of this page.
